NowCapsule is your digital legacy for future generations – your grandchildren and their grandchildren beyond. It is a message to those watching in the future, as told by everyday Americans from all walks of life.
This fun, interactive website will provide the opportunity for people to express their opinions, reflections, and passions to future generations in the form of written messages or video recordings. At the same time, the site will allow for networking with friends and sharing of messages before the time capsule is closed for long-term storage.
The centerpiece of each person's contribution to the digital archive will be a legacy video, which will allow him or her to choose their own expressive message to future generations. A permanent digital archive will be stored in the Library of Congress.
