As you work your way through the ten levels of the website, you are granted access to new interactive features. One of these features is the opportunity to respond to, discuss or comment on other members’ Legacy Recordings via video blog. The Legacy Recordings are our take on life as we see it in 2008 and a message to the year 2508 - you may feel the same as the person leaving the original recording or you may have a whole new take on the subject. But remember, everything that you say is a part of the permanent archive and your comments will echo through time.
Darren's true story is from one of countless experiences in his life as a Vista Grande Hot Shot. Over 10 minutes long, the full-length story is available to members who have reached the second level of the website. Members who reach level two will be able to record one or more entertaining stories for an audience in the year 2508. Other members at the same level or higher can watch your stories and share their own. The only caveat is that before, during, or after your story you must define a certain amount of the terminology you use in telling the tale. This is done not only for entertainment value, but to establish context for viewers in the distant future.

Blast Questions
When you complete level five, you may be sent specialized BLAST questions. BLAST questions are questions that are generated just for the fun of it, but with the same thoughtful detail that goes into all of the questions on NowCapsule. If you receive one and respond to it within 12 hours, your profile and your BLAST answer are eligible for highlighting on the front page of the website for everyone to see. And yes, this answer is also archived with the rest of the site!
