Welcome to NowCapsule - the Beta site. When NowCapsule goes live, the minute you hit the splash page you will notice that you have never seen anything like this before. This website has two goals: to entertain you and to allow you to leave an historic message of your choosing to the future. The first time that you visit the site you will have the option of choosing a version of the website that compliments your sensibilities. In other words, the choices you make from the splash page will take you to a version of the website that was built with you in mind. Once at the site, you will be asked to log in and create a password. From that moment forward you will have 365 days - 1 year - to complete your journey. Basic demographic information will be collected during your first interactive session.
Once you join the fun as a member you will find that the website has 10 levels. Each level is not an advancement in difficulty level but rather a stepping stone on a journey into who you are, what you think about the life you are living, what you do for fun, what you do under stress, and your opinions on life in the year 2008. It is also the opportunity to interact with thousands of others who are taking this journey alongside you. But remember, everything that you do here is part of a larger archive, an archive that will tell future generations who we were, what we thought about and what made us individuals.
You will also have choices in how you interact with the website. For your host you may choose from a list of celebrities, iconic personalities, or even avatars created by our programmers. You may even choose to alternate between hosts during different levels of the site.
